What's New
What's new in JD3.
Every update to Just Do Three, in one place. Newest first.
Just Do Three keeps getting better, one focused release at a time. Here's what's shipped so far.
- JDT at Work — keep work and personal tasks separate with a quick toggle. Each context has its own backlog, plan, and rollovers.
- Add to iPhone Calendar — turn any task into a Calendar event or Reminder right from JD3.
- Export tasks to CSV — pull your backlog (and optionally completed tasks) out of the app for backups or analysis.
- Scan with Camera & Import from Photos — point your phone at a list, sticky note, or whiteboard and JD3 reads the tasks for you.
- Rollover fixes: no more phantom recurring tasks, and tasks already in a past stretch-goal slot no longer resurface.
- Smarter rollovers — each unfinished task now offers four clear choices, with a bulk-apply bar and the option to schedule it for a specific day.
- Optional task dates — give a task a date when it matters, leave it off when it doesn't.
- Today completion haptics — finish your three and feel a little celebration (with vibration fallback on older devices).
- Polished backlog and planning flows, plus rollover pill-button fixes.
- First-launch onboarding — a quick 4-slide walkthrough so new folks get the JD3 idea right away.
- New splash screen with the bulb logo and a teal glow.
- Brag & share card — celebrate a finished day and share it however you like.
- Paste multiple tasks into the backlog at once — great for moving lists in from other apps.
- Backlog screen: prominent Add task and Import File buttons.
- Fixes to the Add-a-task button visibility, celebration banner, and Today slot counting.
