Frequently Asked Questions

Is Just Do Three good for ADHD or adult ADD?
Many people with ADHD or adult ADD find Just Do Three helpful because it shrinks the decision space. A long task list creates choice paralysis — too many open loops competing for limited working memory. Three priorities is small enough to hold in your head, big enough to feel like progress, and removes the "where do I start?" friction. The app works with how an ADHD brain prefers to focus rather than against it. Just Do Three isn't a medical product or treatment, but the underlying approach (single-tasking, narrow focus) lines up with what research on attention and executive function suggests works.
What happens to unfinished tasks at the end of the day?
When you open the app on a new day, you'll be prompted to roll over any uncompleted tasks. You can keep them on your list, send them back to the backlog, or dismiss them. Each rollover is tracked so you can spot tasks you keep avoiding.
How do I set up morning and evening reminders?
Go to Settings → Reminders. Toggle on Morning reminder or Evening check-in, then tap the time to choose when you'd like to be reminded. Notifications are scheduled locally — no account needed.
How do I delete a task permanently?
In the Backlog tab, tap the trash icon next to any task and confirm deletion. Tasks can also be removed from today's list using the ··· menu on each task card — this returns them to the backlog rather than deleting them.
Can I import a list of tasks all at once?
Yes. In the Backlog tab, you can paste in a list of tasks (one per line) or upload a .txt or .csv file. Each line becomes a task. For CSV files, only the first column is used.
Does Just Do Three collect any of my data?
No. The app collects no personal information, analytics, or usage data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
